<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure pipe which reduces a cost by forming a crossing part of a material having strength smaller than conventional strength since a reduction rate of a stress concentration caused in a corner part is made larger than a conventional rate. SOLUTION: A main pipe 12 and a branch pipe 14 are mutually communicated via the crossing part 10a, and a thickening part 18 is formed on respective outside surfaces of common side wall parts 16 and 16 used in common by the main pipe 12 and the branch pipe 14 of the crossing part 10a. Thus, when internal water pressure is applied to the main pipe 12 an the branch pipe 14, deformation of the crossing part 10a in an elliptic shape can be relieved by this thickening part 18. As a result, the reduction rate of the stress concentration caused in the corner part 20 for crossing inside surfaces of the main pipe 12 and the branch pipe 14 is made larger than that when applying a conventional chamber method.</p> |
