<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe jacking method and a pipe jacking device which pulls a pipe material in an excavating hole without damaging the pipe material, applies auxiliary repulsion to the pipe material in a towing device for pulling in the pipe material, and completely buries the pipe material in the excavating hole. SOLUTION: A net member 4 is peripherally installed on a PE pipe p of a laying object, and is extended and contracted by frictionally sliding this net member by pulling the net member in the propelling direction X of the PE pipe p. The PE pipe p is propelled in the propelling direction X while restraining the PE pipe p by fastening force by this extension-contraction. Thus, the PE pipe p is propelled without applying unreasonable force, and since excessive holding stress is not applied to a specific part, its damage is prevented. For example, when using this pipe propelling method for compensating for pulling-in force of the towing device, work is performed even in a relatively narrow vertically shaft without using the large and high output towing device by that extent.</p> |
