PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain easy and positive verification of an accident position at which a discharging clamp operates without requiring severe and complicated work for a patrolman. SOLUTION: This accident position display device comprises a discharging clamp 11 which is attached to an insulator 13 supported by a cross arm of a power pole and discharges overvoltage guided by a distribution line 21 from an arm 14 to the ground; a conductive forced spark link 12 attached to the insulator 13; and a discharging clamp operation display device 10 which comprises a line side electrode connected to the link 12 and a ground side electrode connected to the arm 14 side and ensures visibility from the outside, by performing displaying operation by the discharge between both of the electrodes during the operation of the discharging clamp. The operation display device 10 performs displaying operation by moving a display part by using the explosive power of explosive powder, or flowing out a coloring fluid by discharge and coloring a water absorption material, or removing the display part by a stopper by discharging. |
