USB-HUB DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB-HUB device that carries out a request to a device connected to a port of the HUB device by using a serial interface engine of the HUB device in common. SOLUTION: The USB-HUB device is provided with: a HUB address register 124 that latches an address of the HUB; a HID address register 125 that latches an address of HID (Human Interface Device), a first comparator 123 that compares a value of the HUB address register with an address field of a supplied token packet; a second comparator 113 that compares the value of the HID address register with the address field of the supplied token packet; a virtual port control section 18 that indicates a state of a port to which a device 3 is virtually connected; and a HID use request processing section 131 that performs the processing in response to a request.
