PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the meltdown time of a fuse of a fuse circuit whose characteristics are never varied. SOLUTION: A holding circuit takes in the level of a second node through a third switch in the first half of a first period, and outputs it as a fuse signal indicating meltdown of a fuse. As the third switch is turned off in the latter half of the first period, the contents of the holding circuit is not varied even if the level of the second node is varied. Consequently, the malfunction of a fuse circuit can be prevented. When the fuse is blown-out, the level of the first node is fixed to the level of a second power source line after the first period. Thereby, the voltage difference of both ends of a fuse can be equalized, and the occurrence of a glow-back phenomenon can be prevented. Though a fuse is not cut off completely, the glow-back phenomenon is not caused, and the blown-out of the fuse of the fuse circuit can be performed by only once. Consequently, the meltdown time of a fuse in a test process or the like can be shortened.
