The invention concerns a method for cell change in a packet-mode cellular mobile radiocommunication system, whereby data concerning resources allocated to a mobile station in a new cell are communicated by the network to said mobile station while said station is still in the former cell; method whereby data enabling the mobile station to determine a time advance to be applied by said mobile station in the new cell are further communicated by the network to said mobile station while said mobile station is still in the former cell.
