PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen producing method doubly having a low power source unit at the time of rated driving and driving capacity in an extensive range and capable of providing product nitrogen gas different in purity and pressure in a desired rate as required and its device. SOLUTION: This device is furnished with a first fractionating tower to separate compressed, purified and cooled material air into first nitrogen gas and first oxygen enriched liquefied fluid, a first condenser to provide first liquefied nitrogen by heat-exchanging the first nitrogen gas and the first oxygen enriched liquefied fluid and to simultaneously provide first oxygen enriched gas fluid, a second fractionating tower to separate a part of the first oxygen enriched gas fluid into second nitrogen gas and second oxygen enriched liquefied fluid by low-temperature-distilling it, a second condenser to provide second liquefied nitrogen by heat-exchanging the second nitrogen gas and the second oxygen enriched liquefied fluid and to simultaneously provide second oxygen enriched gas fluid, a first product collecting route to derive a part of the first nitrogen gas as first product nitrogen gas and a second product collecting route to derive a part of the second nitrogen gas as second product nitrogen gas.
