The invention relates to a booklet which may contain traveller's guides, reference material or instructions for operation and maintenance and to a process for making the same. According to the invention, the booklet comprises a stack (1) of sheets whose size is the double of the folded booklet page, said sheets being stitched together with another sheet (2) whose size is an even multiple of the values of the page sizes, using needles (3) or threads, said sheet (2) being placed in the middle of the stack (1) of sheets folded about the center line of one of the sheet sizes giving the size of the main page of the booklet, and being unfolded for use, and kept folded after use, at the main size of the booklet. The claimed process for making the booklet consists in folding a sheet having the size of an even multiple of the values of the page sizes in the main format of the booklet, and in placing it on top of a stack of sheets whose size is the double of the main format of the booklet, said stack of sheets being also folded about the center line of one of its sizes, after stitching, the center sheet being symmetrically folded in the format of the double of the main page size of the booklet.
