The invention relates to an arc-welding installation using wrapped wire. According to the invention, the installation comprises a tank (6) containing a paste-like flux (2), said tank being linked, by means of a hose, with a burner tip (A) provided with a removable nozzle (1) wherethrough the paste-like flux (2) passes out together with the electrode wire (3). The flux is led through a hose (7) to the burner tip (A) using a pump (8) driven by an electric motor by means of some change gears (9), said electric motor being controlled by an electronic control unit (12) which is notified about the ignition of the electric arc by a current and/or voltage transducer (20).
