An optical disk device for correctly positioning on a turntable, an optical disk composed of two optical disks glued together, regardless of how poorly they are attached together. The device includes the turntable (10), on which the optical disk (1) is placed, a disk holding part (20) onto which a mounting hole of the optical disk is fitted, and a clamping member(21), which is provided on part of the circumferential surface in the disk holding part, is free to move in the radial direction of the disk holding part, and is impelled radially outward. The clamping member is formed in a mountain shape by two sloping faces (21b, 21c) and a tip (21a) where the sloping faces meet. The tip is beveled to a shape such that the tip makes a surface contact with the optical disk when the optical disk is mounted on the turntable.
