<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material which contributes to recycling by improving recyclability of the vacuum heat insulating material by selection of a proper core material, and improves a recycling rate of a material of a used refrigerator for applying the vacuum heat insulating material without impairing conventional heat insulating performance, and also to provide a refrigerator having a high energy-saving effect using this vacuum heat insulating material. SOLUTION: A covering material 2 has a metallic foil layer and a thermoplastic polymer layer, and is filled with a glass fiber aggregate 3 composed of glass fiber manufactured form a raw material including waste glass fiber as a raw material, and molded with a phenol resin as a binder. Bulk density of the glass fiber aggregate is 250 kg/m<3> , and an average fiber diameter of the glass fiber is 2μm.</p> |
