PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor manufacturing method having the improved film formation of a photoreceptive layer, etc. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor manufacturing method wherein a cylindrical or endless belt type conductive supporting body is rotated in a spray booth and a photoreceptor forming layer is formed on the conductive supporting body by spray-coating, air or inactive gas having a wind velocity of 0.1 to 1.0 m/sec near the conductive supporting body is made to flow in, and the spray-coating is performed in such a state where an air pressure in the spray booth is made lower than an air pressure outside the spray booth by 0.0 to 3.0 mmH2 O.
