PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce laser optical interference noise that occurs inside the optical head of an optical disk device, and to save high-frequency superposing so that a low cost is attained. SOLUTION: In place of a conventional direct transition semiconductor laser, there is employed a laser using an indirect transition semiconductor as an active layer material and is made a light source for reproduction. |
