PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a dielectric leak wave antenna at a low cost. SOLUTION: An excitation part 24 of the dielectric leak wave antenna 20 has a metal strip 40 for a line which is provided at a distance from a leak metal strip 3 for leaking on the surface of a dielectric substrate 1 and forms a microstrip line with a base plate conductor 2 across the dielectric substrate 1 and a plurality of subs 41 which are provided at specified intervals at an edge of the line metal strip 40 and branch and output an electromagnetic wave fed to the microstrip line in directions crossing the metal strip 3 for leaking in the dielectric substrate 1.
