<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrostatic bearing which can reduce the friction resistance even at high-speed rotation, suppress heat generation and power consumption, and increase the supporting rigidity at low-speed rotation. SOLUTION: Compressed air is used at the high-speed rotation and water is used at the low-speed rotation by switching the pressurized support fluid to be fed to the bearing.</p> |
