<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for water-based ballpoint pens, stable with the passage of time, excellent in writing performance, in rubber-erasability, and in abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This ink composition at least contains 5-30 wt.% of colored grains of a non-thermoplastic resin having an average grain diameter of 2-20μm based on the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored grains having a glass transition point of lower than 0 deg.C. It is preferred that the average grain diameter of the non-colored grains be 0.01-10μm and that the composition also contains 1-30 wt.% of at least one selected from the group consisting of an adduct of glycerol to ethylene oxide or propylene oxide and an adduct of diglycerin to ethylene oxide or propylene oxide.</p> |
