PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a control characteristic of an air/fuel ratio against fluctuation of an atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: In the case where an execution condition of feed back is effected and a prospect correction flag XOTP=0 (no prospect correction), an excess ratioλTG of target air is set (Step 101-103). Thereafter, the atmospheric pressure is operated by a pressure of a suction pipe detected by a suction pipe pressure sensor 17 (Step 104) and a feed back gain corresponding to the atmospheric pressure is set (Step 105). In the case of control mode flag F1=1 (the former case is the prospect control and the present case is feed back control) or in the case where the feed back gain is switched during feed back control, an initial value of an integration item ZI is operated using the feed back gain to operated the integration item ZI (Step 106-109). Thereafter, an air/fuel ratio correction coefficient FAF is operated using this integration item ZI (Step 110).
