PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk changer which reliably detects that a magazine arranging and storing a plurality of sheets of disks is mounted therein. SOLUTION: When the magazine 10 arranging and storing a plurality of sheets of disks are inserted into the disk changer, a detection arm 37 and a lock arm 39 as moving members are moved in accordance with the insertion. The lock arm 39 is engaged with an insertion groove disposed on the back surface of the inserted magazine and locks the magazine with respect to the disk changer owing to the movement of the lock arm oneself. Further, the detection arm 37 operates the lock detection switch owing to its own movement. Therein, both of the detection arm 37 and the lock arm 39 are energized by an energizing spring 38, therefore, the moving members themselves which lock the magazine with respect to the disk changer allows a lock detection switch to operate ON and the mounting of the magazine can be reliably detected.
