PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suggest an optical system driving device which has a stable quality. SOLUTION: In the optical system driving device for which is provided with at least an optical element holder 2 furnished with an optical element 1, a supporting holder 3 which supports the optical element holder 2 via elastic supporting members 4a and 4b movably in the substantially perpendicular direction to a recording medium and a carriage 5 which holds the supporting holder 3 as well as the optical element holder 2 movably in the substantially radial direction of the recording medium, the supporting holder 3 and the carriage 5 are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the elastic supporting members 4a and 4b, the optical element holder 2 is supported via the elastic supporting members 4a and 4b so that a part of the carriage 5 is interposed, and the opposing faces of the supporting holder 3 and the carriage 5 are butted by being mutually positioned and integrally combined.
