HIGHLY BASIFIED ADDITIVE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly basified additive composition which can exhibit a high lubricating property imparting effect realized by inorganic microparticles with large diameters as well as transparency and fluidity desirable for a lubricating oil additive. SOLUTION: The additive composition contains 20-80 wt.% base oil, 10-55 wt.% alkaline earth metal carbonate microparticles of a mean particle diameter of at least 100 nm and 10-50 wt.% alkaline earth metal salt of a 10-25C unsaturated fatty acid as a dispersant for the microparticles and is a transparent liquid or a transparent gel at ordinary temperature.
