PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress mass increase of an expanded lattice, and to suppress elongation of the expanded lattice caused by corrosion of the lattice. SOLUTION: In the lattice for a storage battery having reticulated lattice frames, the cells, formed of the reticulated lattice while respectively having different longitudinal dimensions, are at least formed on one row by machining a metallic sheet, and those cells having different dimensions are regularly arranged.
