A method of estimating a plant organ wherein a specific gene is expressed by using a part of a base sequence a method of searching for a gene expressed in parts including flower and compositions, kits, a system and a program for performing these methods. More particularly speaking, a method of estimating a plant organ in which a plant gene is expressed based on the data of the presence/absence of a base sequence closely analogous to a transposable element in the vicinity of an estimated protein-encoding domain of the above gene.
