PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive mechanism which has a small number of components and enables miniaturization and cost reduction and a disk reproducing device using its disk drive mechanism. SOLUTION: In this disk drive mechanism, a disk 11 is irradiated with light from an optical pickup and information reproduction is enabled by reading reflected information. This disk drive mechanism is provided with a first driving source 1 which drives a disk rotating means for rotating the disk 11, a first drive transmitting means 3 which transmits a driving force of the first driving source 1, a second driving source 2 which drives an optical pickup moving means 21 for moving the optical pickup, a second drive transmitting means 78 which transmits a driving force of the second driving source 2 and a driving force synthesizing means 7 which inputs the driving force transmitted from the first drive transmitting means 3, also inputs the driving force transmitted from the second drive transmitting means 78 and outputs the driving force inputted from the two drive transmitting means 3, 78 to one output side.
