SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the radiation image conversion panel that includes a process where a phosphor layer is formed by evaporating a substance generated through the application of heat to phosphors or an evaporation source containing a material of the phosphors onto a substrate, the evaporation is carried out in an atmosphere whose moisture partial pressure is 7.0×10<-3> Pa or lower. Or the evaporation is carried out in an atmosphere whose HC partial pressure is between 1.0×10<-9> Pa and 1.0×10<-6> Pa inclusive.
