PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurization type leak inspection system and a controlling method therefor reducing a pressure of an evaporated fuel passage without flowing out the evaporated fuel to an atmosphere side after completion of a leak inspection of an evaporated fuel processing system. SOLUTION: When the leak inspection of the evaporated fuel processing system is carried out, an energization of a pump module 10 to a solenoid valve 30 is turned ON. A purge valve 125 is opened. A communication of a canister 110 side with an atmosphere side is shielded by the solenoid valve 30 and the canister 110 side is communicated with a pump 20 side. When an energization to the pump 20 is turned ON in this state, air suctioned through a filter 50 is fed from the pump 20 to a piping 107, the canister 110, a piping 105, 106 and a fuel tank 100 and the evaporated fuel passage is pressurized. When the leak inspection is completed, the canister 110 side is gradually communicated with the atmosphere side by frequency-controlling a current fed to a coil 40 of the solenoid valve 30 to reduce the pressure of the evaporated fuel flow passage.
