PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a forged article which is closely resemble with a true commercial product by irradiating a decorative tape or label using a synthetic fiber yarn composed of filaments to which fine powder for detection is added with infrared rays having a specific wavelength. SOLUTION: When a tape having narrow width or a woven fabric having wide width is prepared, fine powder for detection is added to a resin stock solution and the mixture is spun into a plurality of filaments and a synthetic fiber yarn for detection composed of these filaments is colored into a specific color by an organic dye and the synthetic fiber yarn for detection is woven as warp or weft to form a continuous design.
