发明名称 COATING MATERIAL FOR FUEL CELL SEPARATOR
摘要 A coating material for a fuel cell separator which uses graphite as an electroconductive material and is applied on the surface of a separator made of a metal or carbon to form an electroconductive coating film, characterized in that it comprises a copolymer VDF-HFP copolymer of vinylidene fluoride VDF and hexafluoropropylene HFP as a binding and adhering agent in an amount of 10 wt % or more and an organic solvent compatible with the binding and adhering agent as a medium in an amount of 50 to 95 wt %, and the compounding ratio of the electroconductive material to the binding and adhering agent is 15 : 85 to 90 : 10 in weight, or wherein it comprises an emulsion of a styrene-butadiene copolymer or the like as a binding and adhering agent in an amount of 5 wt % or more in terms of a resin component and has a solid content of 10 to 60 wt %, and the compounding ratio of the electroconductive material to the binding and adhering agent is 20 : 80 to 95 : 5 in weight. The latter coating material exhibits excellent characteristics as a water-borne coating material.
