<p>A vending machine which can promote selling of an arbitrary article of commerce depending on the environment or selling situation of the vending machine. The vending machine arranges the samples A-H of article of commerce being displayed on a display monitor (7) such that a large number of cold articles of commerce are included when the outer air temperature is higher than a specified level and a large number of hot articles of commerce are included when the outer air temperature is lower than the specified level so that the articles of commerce wanted by users are displayed depending the temperature such that a larger number of cold articles of commerce are displayed in hot day and a larger number of hot articles of commerce are displayed in cold day. When a large number of cold articles of commerce are included in the arrangement, a background (7b) based on blue is displayed in order to impart “cool” feeling and when a large number of hot articles of commerce are included in the arrangement, a background (7c) based on red is displayed in order to impart “warm” feeling thus promoting the desire of purchase of users.</p> |
