The invention is meant for low-step-cascade harnessing of rivers, which preserves the biological background, the territory and the possessions, protecting them against high flood, and alluvium, erosions, drought, frost. The installation comprises: bear-trap dams (8) for removing the high flood, transformers (1), turbines and pumps catching the cascade energy and converting it into high pressure energy, feeding a pipe (2) which discharges to a common hydroelectric station (3) so that the electrical equipment is outside the high flood action. The invention also presents versions for catching the tide, waves and wind energy.
