The present invention provides a heat-developable photosensitive material having a substrate, an undercoat layer and a photosensitive layer containing silver behenate in this order, wherein an adhesive roll having an adhesive force of at least 35 hPa is brought into contact with one face or both faces of the photosensitive material before the photosensitive layer is formed, and a method of producing the same.
