The ejection device has a spindle drive used for movement of the power switch module (24) between its working position, a test position and an ejection position, via movement of sliding elements of a power switch module carriage along guides. The spindle drive is operated by a drive tool (54) fitted into a front access opening in an attachment (6) fitted to the side of the base unit (4) receiving the power switch module, selectively blocked by a locking device, with a display device indicating the actual position of the power switch module.
