MEDIUM LOW SPEED SUBSCRIBER MULTICASTING EMBODYING METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A medium low speed subscriber multicasting embodying method and an apparatus therefor are provided to integrate and manage a multicasting dedicated routing table in a medium low speed subscriber upper layer for efficiently using a memory and smoothly treating the number of subscriber links. CONSTITUTION: An integrated routing table(22) integrates and maps information of multicasting routing tables necessary for respective medium low speed subscriber links. A multicasting call processing unit(20) maps a virtual path/virtual path with respect to a multicasting copy number corresponding to the respective links and a port number to the integrated routing table(22). When a multicasting cell is inputted, the multicasting call processing unit(20) accesses the integrated routing table(22) by a multicasting copy number of the multicasting cell and link information, reads a virtual path/virtual channel with respect to the respective links, outputs the multicasting cell to the corresponding medium low speed subscriber link.
