<p>The protective thermal screen comprises a ring (11) of a nickel alloy fretted to the shaft (1) in the thermal transition zone between hot and cold fluids, fastened to the shaft by a transverse nickel alloy peg (12). The nickel alloy ring can be surrounded by an outer ring of austenitic stainless steel fretted at its two ends, with a cylindrical cavity forming a clearance between the two ends, the outer ring having a series of inner annular projections forming zones where the clearance is reduced.</p> |
