The invention relates to a method for producing monoisopropylamine (MIPA). According to the inventive method, propine and/or propadiene are reacted with MIPA under hydroamination conditions. The hydroamination product(s) obtained are then reacted with ammonia under transalkylation and hydrogenation conditions.
