PURPOSE: A power supply in a power factor correction mode is provided to realize a low-power circuit by stopping operation of unnecessary circuit in standby mode according to PFC(power factor correction) mode. CONSTITUTION: A power supply in a power factor correction mode comprises a PFC unit(100) for outputting power of AC voltage according to input control signal, a controller for controlling operation of the PFC unit, a bridge diode rectifier for rectifying AC power from the PFC unit into DC power, a DC-DC converter for converting the rectified DC power, a regulator for supplying the converted DC power to a power consumption system according to load state of the system, a switching operation controller(130) for controlling switching operation of the DC-DC converter, and a sensing and voltage controlling unit(140) for controlling operation of the controller to block operation of the PFC unit. The sensing and voltage controlling unit regulates resistance value of a voltage sensing resistance in the controller to descend entire voltage. |
