PURPOSE: An apparatus for reserving the preceding slab and extracting the following slab in the heating furnace according to rolling conditions such as slab characteristics and product dimensions when extracting the heated slab after heating slab in heating furnace of hot rolling plant is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for reserving the preceding slab and extracting the following slab in the heating furnace comprises apparatus driving parts(50) comprising a hook driving motor fixed onto traveling transfer car, a transfer car traveling motor fixed to the lower surface of the traveling transfer car, and a support on which a rack gear is formed so that the rack gear is gear connected to the transfer car traveling motor, and which is fixed to one side of the heating furnace door parts(70), wherein the apparatus driving parts(50) are installed on the upper surface of a heating furnace in such a manner that the apparatus driving parts(50) are symmetrical side to side; slab ascending and descending parts(60) comprising a hook case fixed to the traveling transfer car of the apparatus driving parts(50), "L" type hooks installed inside a guide roll installed inside the hook case so that the "L" type hooks are driven up and down, and a rack gear formed on the inner surface of the "L" type hooks so that the rack gear is gear connected to the hook driving motor so that the "L" type hooks are reciprocally fixed by clamping member(26); and heating furnace door parts(70) comprising a plurality of through holes formed on the upper part of the heating furnace(1) so that the "L" type hooks of the slab ascending and descending parts(60) enter and leave the plurality of through holes, an opening and closing door to the inner surface of which a refractory castable is adhered as the opening and closing door is being hinge connected to one side surface of a rectangular case installed on the side part surface of the plurality of through holes, and a driving cylinder connected to the opening and closing door by hinge so that the driving cylinder opens and closes the opening and closing door.
