The pressure regulator valve has a valve housing supporting a compression spring (27) which supports the control element (22) against the lower part (14) of the housing. The spring length in the rest position lifts the control element from the closing seat (16). The control element has a collar which can be pressed by the compression spring against an underneath of the diaphragm.
