PURPOSE: A method is provided to sense exact traffic information by correcting a pan angle and a tilt angle of a camera and updating the coordinates of a sense region when sensing traffic information after switching a camera function into a CCTV function. CONSTITUTION: There is judged whether a camera is adjusted(S10). When the camera is not adjusted, a traffic sensing operation is carried out and a result is transferred at a data transfer time(S20,S30,S40). When the camera is adjusted, the camera is adjusted along an adjusted position and there is judged whether a current position returns to a sense position(S50,S60). When switched into the sense position, coordinates of each traffic line are extracted from input images(S70). Pan and tilt angles of the camera are corrected using the extracted coordinates(S80,S90). After updating coordinates of a sense region and performing a vehicle sense operation, traffic data is transferred at a predetermined data transfer time(S100).
