The mechanism for aligning printed sheets uses combined front (5) and top (4) stops mounted on a parallelogram lever system incorporating two parallel double rockers (9, 22). This is moved by a drive shaft (16) which is cyclically raised and lowered to move the stops from the operating position to a position below the tray, out of the sheet path.
