Compressed air supply system comprises a pressure reducer (5) connected to a compressed air bottle and pressure lines connected to high- and medium-pressure outlets and leading to a mouthpiece (11) and to warning and display devices and further connections. A one-piece combined high-/medium-pressure line (8) consisting of a respiratory air-guiding medium-pressure tube having a cross-section corresponding to the respiratory air requirement and a flexible high-pressure line arranged coaxially within the medium-pressure tube is axially rotatably connected via a rotating coupling (7) to the pressure reducer and in the front region of the apparatus to a distribution block (9) for the high- and medium-pressure air. The distribution block has a first medium-pressure connection (10) for the mouthpiece, a high-pressure connection (15') for a manometer (15), a combined high-/medium-pressure connection (16) for controlling an alarm whistle (17) with high pressure and its operation with medium pressure, a high-pressure quick-filling connection (14) and a second medium-pressure connection (13).
