Hydraulic pressure intensifier (1') has supply connection (IN), a return connection (R), a high pressure connection (H), a piston arrangement having a high pressure cylinder (4a) with a high pressure piston (3a) and a low pressure cylinder, a switching valve arrangement (10') for controlling pressure, and a screen (27) for connecting supply connection to control pressure chamber (14) in intermediate position of valve element (11').
