The cross clip for the fixing of roof tiles consists of a wire section (4), which has a hook (3) on one end, and a pre-formed sheet metal section (5) in C or U form. The wire section by its second end is longitudinally movable and can be fixed in any displaced position on the preformed section. One side of the preformed part has a first hole for the tight fitting of the wire section, and the base of the preformed section close to the bend where the first side joins has a second hole to accommodate the wire section.
