PURPOSE: A motor mounting structure for an air conditioner is provided to reduce parts count and costs by arranging a plurality of bolts on the base pan and mounting the motor to the bolt. CONSTITUTION: A motor mounting structure comprises a base pan(50) forming a bottom surface of an air conditioner; a plurality of bolts(60) each of which has a bottom coupled to the base pan and a top extended upward from the base pan; and coupling pieces(83,87) protruded from the outer surface of a motor(80) for providing forces for driving fans for forming air stream flowing through the indoor and outdoor units of the air conditioner. The coupling pieces are coupled with the stopper formed at the top of the bolt. A vibration isolation member(70) is interposed between the stopper and the coupling pieces so as to absorb the vibration and noise generated from the motor. |
