FURNACE LIFE END TYPE COOLING PLATES IN BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: Furnace life end type cooling plates in blast furnace are provided which are capable of preventing wear of the cooling body due to descending flow of charging materials and ascending flow of gas generated in the blast furnace and easily adhering repairing material for repairing the furnace wall to the front end of the furnace wall. CONSTITUTION: In cooling plates a plural of which are installed in the furnace wall of blast furnace (100) consisted of metal case (105) and firebrick (104) to cool the body of the blast furnace, the furnace life end type cooling plates in the blast furnace comprise a cooling body (2) which is buried under the firebrick (104) and equipped with cooling pipe (4) for circulating cooling water to reduce thermal load of the furnace wall; and a head part (3) integrally compression molded with connection rings (5) installed on the vertical plane of the front end of the cooling body (2) and formed in a cross shape to improve bonding force of the refractories, wherein the front end of the head part (3) is formed in a round shape to ease workability during attachment or detachment of the cooling plates, absorb descending impact of charging materials and proceed the gas smoothly as minimizing friction with ascending flow of gas.
