1334869 Bearings; securing bearing races on shafts NIPPON SEIKO KK 3 Dec 1970 [9 Dec 1969] 57425/70 Headings F2A and F2U Bearings.-A bearing assembly is mounted in a housing 5 by means of a resilient anti-creep ring 4 which has a pair of outwardly expanded arched portions 42a, 42b, which contact the housing bore 51, and free ends, which contact the bottom surface of an annular groove 12 provided in the outer surface of the outer race ring 1, thereby reducing creep between the housing 5 and the race ring 1. In a further embodiment (Fig. 6, not shown), the anti-creep ring is provided with three outwardly expanded arched portions. Securing races on shafts.-A bearing race ring is secured on a shaft by means of a resilient anticreep ring in a manner analogous to that described above. |
