A bath for the underwater treatment of burns, comprises an ultrasound unit for applying ultrasound to the injury underwater, and a peeling unit for the removal of necrotic tissue particles. A UV chamber is used to remove germs from the bath water supply. The bath has a heating system with integral electric surface heaters, a temperature probe and a temperature regulator.
