The cardboard composite carton (1) has a paper or cardboard composite sleeve (4) with an inner lining which has a membrane (6) recessed in the sleeve and sealed exclusively on the inner lining by an annular sealing face parallel to the sleeve. The protruding tongue of the membrane is turned over inwards to form a tear-off tab. An outer layer of the sleeve lies in a parallel position in the region of the edge of the sleeve's outer side. The sleeve has a cross-section which tapers downwards in relation to the sealing face.
