<p>The effect of sprays, electronic or sonic devices on biting insects is limited. Manually operated devices like a fly-flap or even a newspaper leave traces at the surface where the insect has been caught. The new design of a mosquito killing device is designed as a small stick (1, 2), similar to the cotton buds used in body care, provided with a very efficient glue at the tip (3). The insect, once touched with the stick cannot free herself and dies.</p> |
