Device for recording or replay of information from the wobble signal of a DVD+RW. Accordingly a signal (WS) sampled from the recording track of the recording medium is fed to a circuit arrangement for generation of a clock signal (2TS). The resultant clock signal comprises a square wave voltage that is phase synchronized with the sampled signal and also a signal that is an integer multiple of the frequency of the wobble signal.
