TEMPERATURE-COMPENSATED CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR OF SURFACE MOUNT TYPE

PURPOSE: A crystal oscillator is provided to have a mechanical strength to an impact and a stability to a heat by joining a crystal plate using a stress alleviation conduction tape. CONSTITUTION: Via holes(20,22) are punched at a ceramic substrate(40) of a multiple layer structure. A crystal plate(42) is placed on the ceramic substrate and has electrodes attached at lower and upper parts. The first joining means(18) joins one part of the crystal plate with the ceramic substrate. The second joining means(24) is attached on the ceramic substrate so as to be contact with the other part of the crystal plate. An active circuit(50) of an IC type controls and drives the crystal plate. The first joining means the second joining means are a conductive tape having a property of alleviating a stress.
